Zopiclone

General Information

Zopiclone is a cyclopyrrolone derivative that has been utilized clinically as a hypnotic agent since 1994. A single nightly hypnotic dose for adults may range from 3.75 - 15 mg.

The adverse reactions with zopiclone therapy include nausea, dizziness, headache, anterograde amnesia and respiratory depression. Reversible renal failure has been reported.
