Voltage Gated Potassium Channel Antibodies (VGKCA)

General Information

Potassium channel antibodies are found in approximately 40-50% of patients with acquired neuromyotonia and in some patients with Morvan’s syndrome and with (paraneoplastic and idiopathic) limbic encephalitis. Both are sometimes associated with thymoma or SCLC
