General Information

Ro and La are a heterogeneous antigenic complex made up of 52 kDa Ro, 60 kDa Ro and four small RNA particles. Anti-Ro are the most common ENA specificity amongst autoimmune diseases. They can be seen in Sjogren's syndrome, SLE, cutaneous lupus erythematosus, neonatal lupus and primary biliary cirrhosis. Anti-La (SS-B) antibodies are found mainly in Sjogren's syndrome and sometimes in SLE
