DOAC Stop can be applied to the sample to remove all interference from direct oral anticoagulants. If you are requesting a thrombophilia or lupus anticoagulant screen and your patient is on a DOAC, please state clearly on the request form together with which anticoagulant.
LC ratio > 2.0 Strong lupus anticoagulant detected
LC ratio 1.5 – 2.0 Moderate lupus anticoagulant detected
LC ratio 1.2 – 1.5 Weak lupus anticoagulant detected
